Module 1 International Arbitration

This course is the first module in the International Arbitration Pathway of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), leading to the Member level qualification. It provides an in-depth coverage of the law and practice of international arbitration. The course provides the basis on which those persons wishing to become accredited arbitrators can proceed to Fellowship of CIArb.

Qualifications:

  1. Any person who successfully completed the Introduction to Domestic Arbitration Course;
  2. All professionals.

The course is conducted through self-study of the materials provided by the Zambia Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and online tutorials conducted by members of the Zambia Branch Faculty. The Tutorial dates are 22 March, 5 April and 25 April, 2025,

Fees: ZMW 8,000 or USD350, Assessment Fee: GBP 174 

The online assessment by CIArb UK will be held on 21 May, 2026

Successful participants will be eligible for accreditation as Members of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK (MCIArb).
